Yes. No credit card, no account required. You get a Website Visibility Score and your top issues. Continuous monitoring is what the paid plans add.
Will CheckWebsiteSEO change my website?
No. We only read your website and report what we find. Generated fixes — robots.txt rules, JSON-LD, developer instructions — are yours to review and apply. We never edit a live site.
What is AI visibility?
Whether AI systems can find, understand and cite your website when someone asks them a question related to what you do. It is measured by observing real AI answers over time, not by a formula.
Can CheckWebsiteSEO guarantee Google rankings?
No — and you should be sceptical of any tool that claims otherwise. Nobody outside Google controls rankings. We surface evidence-based opportunities and potential impact, and we say when we are uncertain.
Does blocking AI training also block ChatGPT search?
Not necessarily, and this trips up a lot of people. Training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot) and search crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot) are separate. Our crawler control centre lets you allow search while blocking training.
How often is my website checked?
It depends on your plan — from manual scans on Free, up to hourly critical monitoring on higher tiers. The exact frequencies are listed on each plan.
Does CheckWebsiteSEO replace Google Search Console?
No, it complements it. Search Console is the authoritative source for Google’s own data, and we import it where you connect it. Our proprietary scores are always labelled as ours, separately from official platform data.
What is the Website Visibility Score?
A CheckWebsiteSEO metric from 0–100 combining search, AI visibility, technical health, content, performance, structured data, accessibility and agent readiness. It is our measure, not an official Google or OpenAI metric. When part of a scan cannot run, that part is excluded rather than scored as zero, and we tell you what percentage of the intended checks the score is based on.
What happens if my website changes?
Website Watch compares each check against the last known state. A change that could affect visibility — a new noindex, a robots.txt edit, a sitemap failure — raises an alert with what changed, when, and what it was before.
What if you cannot scan my website?
